German BauBuche – by Pollmeier

BauBuche , represents the latest applications of the science in the wood world.

It is made of a high-density rotary beech veneer, glued, hot pressed and bonded either parallel to the grain or with cross layers.

Why Baubuche:

  • Has a wide range of applications- from the smallest component to 18-meters long boards and beams.
  • It has a superior strength and stiffness, and allows smaller cross sections which minimizes the material consumption.
  • Easy to work with as a solid wood and ideal for exposed structures and construction elements.
  • Reduces the number of required connectors, and their costs, due to its high density and homogeneity.

Types:

Baubuche S/Q boards:
The laminated veneer lumber is available either bonded parallel to the grain (Baubuche S), or cross layers (Baubuche Q).
Thicknesses: 20 mm,40 mm,45 mm.
Dimensions: 182 cm x 225 cm
182 cm x 240 cm
182 cm x 350 cm
Special lengths: 6, 12, 13.5, 16 and 18 meters.
BauBuche Panel:
The veneer layer is perpendicular to the surface, giving it an elegant new look.
Thicknesses: 20 mm, 35 mm, 45mm, 60 mm.
Width: 68 cm
Lengths: 2.25, 3, 4, 4.5, 6 meters.
Special lengths up to 18 meters.
Baubuche beam / GL70:
It Is made of 40mm thick BauBuche laminations, bonded parallel to the grain.
Its high strength allows it to be used to create slender structures for heavy loads and large spans.
Thickness: 120 mm to 600 mm.
Width: 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 cm
Length: 12, 13.5, 16, 18 meters.
